  • Michael Tornow was born in Magdeburg, Germany
  • In 2001 he worked at North-Western-Medical-Physics/Christie Hospital Manchester,UK on medical image processing for improvements in radio therapie
  • He received his Master Degree (Dipl.-Ing) in Electrical Engineering & Information Technology in 2002
  • Since 2002 he work on Hardware Implementations (FPGA) of High Speed Image Processing Algorithms for Environment Perception
  • He received his PhD. in Technical Computer Science at the Otto-von-Guericke-University of Magdeburg, Germany in 2009.
  • Besides other teaching activites he established the Lecture „Embedded Image Processing“ (Embedded Bildverarbeitung)
